Born in a promise between two sisters – Nancy Brinker to her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died from breast cancer at the age of 36 – the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has become the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network fighting to end breast cancer forever. This year, the 25th anniversary, we are recommitting to finally, once and for all, finish what we started. Susan G. Komen for the Cure: new name, new logo, same promise - to end breast cancer forever!
